Klimadao will be the biggest liquid provider in these trading pairs. Just think about thous swap fees this is gonna generate.
KIP 7: KLIMA Moss Liquidity Collaboration
A clear yes ser. This is exactly why Klima was born
What will happen after 6 months? they will pull out the $500,000 worth of MCO2?
And how will the trading fees of the pair divided? 50/50 with MOSS?
for!
Moss yes!
Would be good to get a member of Klima DAO who is very knowledgeable in the space to give a high level pros and cons for these types of decisions. I have limited knowledge of the space but know KLIMA is a key part of our fighting climate change but do need some handholding sometimes
Will there be a MCO2/USDC pool?
KIP6-7 proposal for MCO2 will be positive for both treasury asset value and benefit DAO from revenue accrued from transaction fees revenue. The 6 months evaluation allows for validating the demand and success of the decision. All very positive!!!
Yes..
FluctusLux Apparently yes according to Brian33
Let's go
will be super
Yes, let's do it!
let's do this
Great idea. Let's do it.
Could someone with more knowledge than myself explain how such a collaboration will affect the overall growth of the Klima project?
See my comment in KIP-6
longandslender05 Agreed - would like to have some additional perspectives of risks, pros / cons and scenarios for how this plays out.
I posted an explanation of the Moss Earth project in KIP-6 forum. I believe that the carbon credits that are brought on chain as MCO2 are somewhat superior to those brought on chain as BCT. In the longer term, there’s also real world utility for MCO2, which are bought by businesses / individuals looking to offset their carbon emissions / footprint. In contrast, the utility for BCT isn’t as clear right now (to me at least). For that reason, I supported the proposal laid out in KIP-6.
Wrt to KIP-7 though, I’m not sure how the creation of a MCO2/Klima liquidity pool helps create additional demand for either. Why would someone trade MCO2 for Klima or vice versa?
