We are still talking with Flow/GoddessDAO around our suggestions to acceptably account for the community's above feedback and the timing of a partnership with KlimaDAO to return to the Forum for renewed community polling. Flow is also hard at work lining up their own strategic partnerships that would enhance a potential envisaged collaboration with KlimaDAO and their activity in ReFi. Stay tuned for a final update in the coming (few) weeks!

      GolanTrevize I hate to be annoying, but I haven't seen this final update that was to come in a few weeks. Perhaps I missed it, but it has been a month+2weeks now since you posted that and while I totally understand shifting priorities, and delays (and the very real possibility that I missed this), it does seem we are about due for some kind of update, even if it can't be the final one at this point.

          classwar never annoying to ask genuine update questions about KlimaDAO partnerships 😉.

          So it looks like Flow Carbon's launch has been postponed to late Q2, per their Discord announcement here: https://discord.com/channels/897941820611379241/922950457360515122/958372673401012254

          Accordingly, the Partnerships / Policy teams in KlimaDAO recommended we wait for a definitive confirmation from Flow on their launch to complete our partnership dialogue with them, so to update our community on this.

          FYI following KIP-19, I'm taking an indefinite leave contributing to KlimaDAO, so please direct your questions about this partnership (or others) to @Dionysus & @syzygy going forward fren 🙂

            I'm for collaboration so it's great to see another entity in the mix. =)

            I wonder if there's still room for cooperation given that Flow are essentially trying to work direct with corporates / create their own demand on-chain? They seem more like a (well funded) competitor than they did back in January. Thoughts?

              OLJ44 My understanding is that Flow will first launch on Celo and then later bring their 2 way bridge to Polygon as part of their multichain strategy

              Once their tonnage is on Polygon, I'm sure we can revisit the merits of Flow's original RFC, though market conditions aren't really favorable for bonding right now we could certainly consider including GNT in our retirement aggregator at least.

                  Of course circumstances have changed substantially so this proposal could be revisited once Flow has launched their product.

                    This doesn't make any sense. Why would VERRA have a problem with what they do? In constrast to Toucan they don't seem to retire the credit in the off-chain registry when they tokenize it. They just lock it somewhere. So burning the token and at the same time releasing the original contract is how they can get it back off-chain. vuadoithuong
