I posted an explanation of the Moss Earth project in KIP-6 forum. I believe that the carbon credits that are brought on chain as MCO2 are somewhat superior to those brought on chain as BCT. In the longer term, there’s also real world utility for MCO2, which are bought by businesses / individuals looking to offset their carbon emissions / footprint. In contrast, the utility for BCT isn’t as clear right now (to me at least). For that reason, I supported the proposal laid out in KIP-6.
Wrt to KIP-7 though, I’m not sure how the creation of a MCO2/Klima liquidity pool helps create additional demand for either. Why would someone trade MCO2 for Klima or vice versa?
